Brunswick Awarded Three-Year CARF Accreditation
CARF International announced that our Treatment Centers of America facility in Brunswick has been accredited for a period of three years. As a new facility this latest accreditation is the first Three-Year Accreditation that the international accrediting body has awarded to Treatment Center of Brunswick.
This accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and shows the organization’s substantial conformance to the CARF standards. An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process and has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit that its programs and services are of the highest quality, measurable, and accountable.

Newnan Welcomes Opioid Treatment Professionals
Treatment Centers of America, Newnan are excited to announce recent staffing additions at their facility! Help us welcome Newnan Clinical Director John Ward, BS, COTC and Newnan Lead Nurse Tomeka Barger, LPN.
With experience dating back to 2002, John Ward, B.S., C.O.T.C. began working in the field opiate addiction as a substance abuse counselor. John was previously employed at the CRC HealthGroup, Inc. and Toxicology Associates of North Georgia-Carrollton.
John earned a Bachelor of Science degree is in Organizational Management from Covenant College, Lookout Mountain, Ga. He is certified through National Opioid Treatment Certification board as Certified Opioid Treatment Clinician (C.O.T.C.) and pending certification as Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor with the Alcohol & Drug Abuse Certification Board of Georgia (C.A.D.C.).
We’re happy to have John and his formidable experience at our disposal since October 2009. He’s excited about his work and the help he can offer to those in need.
